2002 Priority Date - Missing 485 approvals

Hi Guys,
I'm a new Member to this site, I've read lot of threads,articles etc.,
Now, I would like to post something.

Below are my details

Case Type:
EB3, India (filed @VSC transferred to TSC on March 9 2007)
PD : DEC 2002
I140: RD/ND: 07/08/2003 AD: 05/10/2004
I485: RD/ND: 05/20/2004 AD: ???!!

LUD on 485: 7/16,7/17 , 08/09 !!!!??
LUD on AP : 08/05 ??

NC cleared
FP1: 03/03/05 (Code 3)
FP2: 05/11/07 (Code 1)
First Service request: 05/14/07
Second Services request: 06/28/07

Received a letter from USCIS - "We are working on your case, requires additional review" - standard letter issued to many people

Please let me know, If anyone is still waiting for approval, whose Labor Priority Date is in 2002

like me, for instance.

PD: Mar 29, 2002.

Labor: Aug 2006 (after case closure in April)

140/485 RD: Nov 13, 2006

FP: Dec 1, 2006

Abosultely nothing after that

Since your FP is current and NC cleared, you must have been assigned a visa number and you will get your GC very soon!
You can contact the immigration liasion in your Congressman's office and ask them to help.
Have you sent Form DHS 7001 to CIS Ombudsman to report your case problem?

Called TSC on 7/27 lady says pending in name check ..
 
I guess there should be quite a few. I was told that my namecheck was done and waiting for visa number currently. Does it mean nothing is going to happen until october ? I thought I would be approved after jul 18th LUD. no luck.

Finally the good news. My case was approved today. receivd the email today
On August 10, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice

Can you please post some of your previous trackings on your case- like, Infopass, Service Request, recent LUD's etc.,
 
Hi 2002_pd_victim,

I took one infopass on 08/06/2007 (5 days back). The guy told me that namecheck is done and the file is at some officers desk , waiting for visa number to be approved. Now I am guessing he might be wrong and probably visa number must have been allocated before if the theory that no more visa numbers until october is correct OR that theory is wrong and they are allocating visa numbers for old 485 cases.

Thanks for all the info on this thread guys. good to hear success stories for 2002 folks.
can somebody do some little analysis on my detail and tell if my case had a hope of getting approved before oct 07 since i got a 3rd fp notice for next week.

Could you please tell which ASC did you 2nd finger printing and which day?
 
HI GCCub,

ASC is Boston, MA. I don't remember the exact date of my second finger printing. Its in May for sure and I think its in the second week of May. goodluck.

I dont know why my blood boils when I see these new comers 2003 -2004- 2005 (baccha log) getting approvals left and right ,we dadajis still stuck with either so called name checks or RFEs.

Here is my details

140 and 485 filled concurrently in June 2003
1-140 denied Initially, Appealed and approved within six months in 2004
1-485 reopened on Jan 2005
I-485 Transfered from VSC--> TSC
3EAD approved so far
FP on May 2007

Opened two SR's, and response follow's

1. One response says they are working on my file and it takes 60 days to compleate the process.

2. Second one said my case required additional evaluation and it's takes 6 months to complelte the process.

I dont know what to say.
 
Hi 2002 guys,
Thanks for all the info. I had my fp-3 done and the i-485 LUD was updated the next day. how can i find out if a visa number was assigned to my case and it has a hope for getting approved before oct 07?
any input or analysis is greatly appreciated.
