Hello,
I just received an RFE on my 140 application. It is for my education evaluation. I know there are thousands of threads regarding education evaluation RFE, but I could not find any which would answer my exact question. Following is the exact wording from my RFE:
It has been determined after review that an advisory evaluation of the beneficiary's formal education must be obtained before a decision can be made. This evaluation is necessary to determine the level and major field of educational attainment, as described in the supporting documents, in terms of equivalent education in the United States. An acceptable evaluation should -
1. Consider formal education only, not practical experience;
2. State if the collegiate training was post-secondary education, i.e., whether the applicant completed the United States equivalent of high school before entering college;
3. Provide a detailed explanation of the material evaluated;
4. Briefly state the qualifications and experience of the evaluator providing the opinion.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 4 year B.E degree in instrumentation engineering. I am not sure what was specified in the labor application.
I have the following questions:
1) What does the #2 in the RFE mean? Do they need education evaluation for my high school degree?
2) For all the people who have got education evaluation RFE's did anybody get a similarly worded RFE? Do they specify the same thing that was specified in my RFE or is it something else?
3) Do I just need to send an education evaluation from TrustForte and that would be enough or do I need to send anything else in addition to the evaluation?
Any help would be appreciated.
