Guys, if we don\'t see 30 odd approvals in this week for APRIL and MAY
,I may change my screen Name to Mohammed Christ and try again.

Your heart may cheat you :) I asked my heart and he said, "I really don\'t know."

Actually I\'m negative on this next-week spree. Enjoy yourself.

Negative!!!!

I went to get an iEAD on Thursday at SF and the officer there stapled mine and my wife\'s together and asked us to go to room
200 upstairs at window 17 for I-765 and there we went and I got mine in 10 minutes and my wife had to wait till 3pm within that time itself they had lost her application and they asked for my EAD and then went and checked and found her application in the approved tray and got her the iEAD!!!

Why I am tellying this is when they cannot handle 200 iEAD\'s in a day what kind of Organization it is!!!!!
So do not expect them to do any work and in the notice board at the INS at the second floorI saw job openings with 20K and what can u expect of them!!!!

My heart says negative of this organization and it is a waste speculating!!!!

Can we volunteer at INS ?

I am dead SERIOUS.

One does not need to be a CITIZEN or even a green card holder to work for INS.

Once we obtain the EAD OR iEAD, we can go and work for INS.
Some may work on voluntary basis , some may work on hourly basis and some may eventually play a major role in getting things back in order.

Yes agree with Venkataramu1 that if INs is offering 20K salaries in Bay Area , we can get only high school dipolma holders for our paperwork.

This is unacceptable. Guys here is our turn, we can MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
We can legally work at INS, the only challenge is how to convince INS commissioner to allow people work during week ends.

If we apply enough pressure, then we can get this done.
CIA, FBI, 9-11, Hospitals, Malls, Grocery stores, Night Clubs everything works during week ends.

If we apply enough pressure, INs can get around 1000 to 5000 additional workers with higher IQ than (most) of their regular staff.

What say you my friends.

i am sure your enthu to volunteer for INS will go away and be DEAD after you get your approval..
so just hang in wait and drink Jony Walker like me..

Our mentality of expecting everything without stretching for it.

We expect the projects to get completed without going to office on week ends.
We expect to become, Manager, Director, Vice-President without doing MBA
We expect to become millionaire without slogging to take our company ahead
We expect GC to come home without working for INS

We came here in the first place because we never made our own motherland prosperous.

I take the blame and the responsibility.
I am talking to Shailesh Daga at ISN.ORG to find out if 1000 to 5000 IT professionals can work at INS during week end for 6 months each.

Jony , you continue with the herd mentality of expecting everything without stretching much.

And I expected each one of us to be above average hard worker.
God bless America, God bless immigrants.

-Amen

Active workers Vs Passive waiters

Can we make a poll on this site for Vishnu\'s question.

Everybody vote if they are in or out.

I AM "IN".

This could be very useful exercise.
If we have a critical mass of 100 people, We can do something.

At least, we can put some pressure on INS

I received my courtesy copy of I-485 approval for myself and my family. INS office SFO was given as venue for stamping.

Questions: Do I have to wait for Original copy from Attorney or can I go to INS with courtesy copy I recd?
Even for SFO office, do I have to go early in the morning at 2am and be in bee line?
Can I switch my venue and go to SJose instead?
Are kids also required to come for the stamping process?
I heard it is a 5-6 hr process - Is it true?
