Hello, I have 1 more question to ask.

On Part 9, Information about Children.

I dont have any kids Yet. but my spouse has 1 daughter, but she is not living with us and she is married and she has her own family, i dint add her there . so what i did was right or wrong? because i just noticed in the N-400 Ins. it says ;

Stepson or stepdaughter or legally adopted; . By the way. she is over 30 Years old..

So i did wrong?

For immigration purposes, the marriage creating a steprelationship must take place while the child is under 18. Does the relationship qualify? If you need to add her at the interview, it is not a problem.

talk to the interview officer about it. i agree with the comment above. if she's over 18 and married then it won't be listed on your form. but since, you're married to the girl's mom, it's better if you explain the situation to the IO. it's up to them to decide.

Thank you so much for ur fast answer. but still confused. she is over 30 years. and she has her own family, so should i add the children under 18, or even if she's over 30 have to add her too??

You are married to a woman who has a 30 year old daughter? How old was the daughter when you married the mother? If she was over 18, neither she nor any of her kids are legally related to you for immigration purposes (and probably for inheritence purposes unless specified by name in a will).

Hi, I have been married from her mother for over 7 (Seven) Years, so for sure she still over 20 Years during that time. So am i ok ? or i was wrong by not added her?
