Atlanta N400 Processing Date Moved The USCIS has moved the processing date for Atlanta to March 15,2005. I don't know what to think of those dates but at least its moving.

I would wait at least two months. The speed USCIS work, that's the minimum. Usually finger print request are sent out to FBI the same day when they take your prints. I guess the reason is that finger printing is out sourced to a private organization. On the other hand name check request is done...

FBI Finger Print I have just called FBI Fingerprint Dept to check the status. I filled out the form for the name check.

Name Check Reply I have printed the form from FBI Website and faxed it in. I also sent an e-mail to FBI Finger Printing Dept. It only took two weeks to get the response back. Probably I got them at the right time, it was couple of days before Christmas.

My DO is Atlanta. The processing date in Atlanta has not moved a single day for past 5 months. They are processing Dec 29, 2003 cases. This is pathetic.
