Thank you all for the good wishes. I love this community. I recd the "Approval notice sent" email today morning. Actually I got two of 'em. one is a duplicate. Just keeping you all updated on the progress.

With that kind of a PD, it looks like it could probably be an approval notice. Unless you were expecting an RFE for an incomplete medical, or you changed address or job recently.

I had LUDs in Sept...no whiff of the GC yet though.

I have read somewhere that some folks actually called USCIS and requested that the RFE be resent to their home address.

Get your skin test and preferably the entire medical test done ASAP so that you are prepared. Pro-actively try to get the RFE documents...dont depend on your attorney...yell, scream, kick 'em but get them to send you the RFE documents at the earliest.

I have been through the same experience last month for my RFE for EVL. Pester him every day until and ask that you be sent a copy of the RFE, scanned copy would be the quickest. I got my copy after 10 days of persistent pestering. Then I responded to the RFE myself, because the attorney...

So...do you not have a lawyer who must have received the RFE too?

I just wish all of us who have been hanging in a twilight zone for some of the best years of our adult lives, could soon get some closure, in a good way. It is no fun waiting for something this long.

I hope it comes soon. The darn thing is effecting my work and health. And I know it should not...but I dont have the discipline/self control to focus on anything else but this crazy dance!

After seeing all these approvals, I got restless and called TSC. The fine lady out there says that everything is clear, it has not been assigned to an IO yet. Wonder when that hour will arrive. :rolleyes:
