Smokey , First of all , Congrats!!! My LUD's are the same as yours. what is ur ND and PD. Hopefully we will get our GC sometime next week. I am so frustated with all this waiting !!!!.

Our online status says that on Dec 23rd request for additional info ----------------. How long will it take for us to get this RFE by mail . Will I receive it or is it only the lawyer who receives it.

We applied for AP on 21 st and we got Rfe on 23 rd. I dont know if AP triggered our gc process or not , but i think if you have it till april 2005, u can wait till feb. just a suggestion

You can get non availability certificate from MRO's office . Every district has one . we did the same.

Is renewal different from New Application for AP?

We applied for AP today . How long it will take for us to receive AP. The processing time says 240 - 270 days .Did anyone receive AP before the processing time . Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance I485 ND : August 2002 3 EAD's , 2 AP's , 2 FP's

Thanks Rsur, I know it is a waste to even think about refund . We just applied for our 3 rd ead . So every year we have to apply for EAD , AP , pay for licencse renewal, go for finger prints whenever they want us to as if we dont have any work and pay for the lawyer -Grand Total - no less...

If I apply to my AP now and if we receive GC within may be like 30 days or so , is there any refund and are we eligible to enter into US if our GC gets approved when we are out of country .Our H1 and H4 visas expired long back. thanks

We did not apply for our AP, thinking we may get our GC by dec or jan. But now lost the hope. We are planning to go to india in Feb . Is there anyway to get AP ASAP . Can we go to local office and request it. I heard that we can get AP at local INS in case of emergency . Is that true? I485 ...
