Processing Time of AP

We applied for AP today . How long it will take for us to receive AP. The processing time says 240 - 270 days .Did anyone receive AP before the processing time . Any input is greatly appreciated.

Is renewal different from New Application for AP?

I think for AP there is no "renewal". I think an AP application is always treated as a "new" application. On the application they never ask for previosly applied/approved/denied AP(s) like they do for EAD application.

Is it necessary for me to renew AP again?

I have to travel for my job abroad quite often. My AP will expire on the 5th of April 2005. My i-485 ND is August 2002. Any idea if I should renew my AP for next year? Or should I at least wait until the end of January. It seems like the gc approval should be just around the corner. Thanks for your input!

We applied for AP on 21 st and we got Rfe on 23 rd. I dont know if AP triggered our gc process or not , but i think if you have it till april 2005, u can wait till feb. just a suggestion
