I did get a 2nd FP on Oct '05 which is code 3. I'm guessing that was because of pre-approval process while retrogression is in effect.

I got a suprise today in my e-mail. MY I-485 is finally approved!!! :) The long wait is over. Thanks to all.

It's possible if: (1) It was approved before Oct 1, 2005. Prior to that date, EB2 visa was current and availiable. (2) His/her country of chargeability is other than India or China. (3) His/her priority date is before the cut-off date as published.

Updated Oct 2005 New Delhi updated their Oct 2005 priority date and corrected India's EB3 to 1-Jan-1998. However, worldwide still reflects "Current" :rolleyes:

When Manila website posted the visa bulletin earlier than the official one, most of us doubt it. However, it turns out to be true. If this New Delhi priority dates are true, EB3 cases progressed a lot. Let's see the official Visa Bulletin which I think will be release this week.

I did receive this message last July (see my signature) and it was indeed because of address change. I received a letter from CSC via snail mail that they are updating my pending I-485 address due to address change.... to date my status is still the same message.
