    Obviosly as limit I intended the need to report, $10,000 and over you have to report it and this is not per person but for family traveling together. It isn't absolutely nice to travel with this amount of cash but giving hundreds of dollars to the banks isn't pleasant at all :confused...

    No vladek because the limit of 10k is aggregate, for family traveling together you can't split the amount. I was thinking of this solution to avoid currency conversion and dubious and shady fees and taxes of banks (italian and american) for normal banking procedures. I have close my bank...

    Hello guys, I know that transporting phisycally an amount exceeding $10,000 is required to be reported. How does the reporting work at the POE? I'm talking about $15,000. Thank you!!! :)

    So they didn't even attend the interview with the CO? o_O

    Aldo I'm really sorry!!! :( How is it possible that you paid only 330$ considering that you have to attend the interview after paying the fee?! P.s. When we attended the interview the same document was missing in our file for both of us, in CEAC my status (principal applicant) was on "AP"...

    Thanks Britsimon :) We don't have jobs in US yet and in fact we (me and my husband) are preparing resumes and we will start searching but I think it will be difficult to find a job from Italy :confused: We have close relatives in Plano, Tx. so initially we are moving there. What do you think...

    Hello guys here we are preparing everything for the BIG JUMP! Today we got our tickets, departure 14 september 2014 arrival in US the same day, our visas expire 3 october 2014, but now we are having some doubts... What do you think departing only 2 weeks before the visas expire is ok?
