I agree with Raju. In my case, they did not ask any financial docs. Also there is no need to notorize photocopy as long as u carry original with you.

I was interviewed in last week of Feb2005 & no one asked about this. They just need PCC from foreign indian consulate for employment CP.

I agree with you. Newcomers should spend sometime on this portal before asking same old questions again & again. There should be a FAQ which should be easy to access and at the top of this thread. Just my 2 cents.

This is same for everyone. There are certain shots which can be given only during childhood. This note was there in my report also. They gave me only MMR. MMR was mentioned in my report.

You will be asked for right index finger at the time of interview at consulate. Also when you enter US, at the airport immigration officer will ask same to do at 2 places. This is what happened with me earlier this month.

Srikar45, You don't need to take your USC kid to consulate if she / he can stay without you for few hours. My son is just 4 months. You may need USC passport & BC. regarding surgery, you can call hospital & check. Lilavati hospital staff was answering questions better than other hospital...

Answer1) : No advance permission required. We took him with us. They did not even ask anything. Infants are not restricted. 2) We did not carry any bag,stroller. Just use polythene bag for diapers, rash cream,clothes. Since my son is nursed by mother, we did not carry formula tin.

I am scheduled for 24Feb interview at mumbai. Today i have noticed that my Birth certificate has only my fathers name in it. Is it compulsory to have mothers name in it? Is their any way around? Id i get new BC with both parents name in it, will they accept it with new issue date?
