FP has nothing to do with I140. It is a part of I485 which is being handled separately.

EB2 or EB3 Ot it doesn't matter once u have your I140?

Hi everyone, We have just received an approval for the I140- no RFE's What are the chances of a getting an RFE on an I485? And what exactly are they doing during this process- Criminal check is one(FP)..what else are they doing? Thanks.

The lawyer gave you the receipt number for I-140 and not for I485/EAD?? We have all the numbers except for I140? Can we call the CIS and retrieve this information?

I got an email y'day that my EAD has finally been approved. Replied RFE on 2/04/04 Started query 5/07/04 Case Approved on 5/21/04

I received an RFE on my EAD. The photos were not right. I retook them and the INS received the new set of photos on Feb 4th. Till date no EAD. Started a query recently on May 5th. Shows some activity on the login page on May 7th ...but still no news.

So, if you have a valid H4 and a pending EAD/ I-140 you don't need AP? I'm confused!!!:confused:

I think your status is EAD. This is what happened to me. I was on F1 for the longest time and just recently changed to H4 and filed for EAD at the same time. My H4 is valid only till the end of this month. My lawyer says that we don't need to extend the H4 since my EAD is in the works...

My Lawyer says that its against the company policy to give the I140 receipt numbers to the employee. Is that a common thing??? :confused: :confused: :confused:

I received my H4 last week and the I-94 stub on the bottom has wrong information on it. They have the wrong country of citizenship. The lawyers says, the INS made a mistake. How long does it take to correct this information?

My photos for EAD and AP were rejected. I just a new set of photos few days back...Does anyone know how long it takes to hear from the Vermont center in such a case?
