same rfe for me...here is what i did. All you need to do is, go to the Doc who did the 693 for you, show him the proof the VV taken (i did in county hospital.becoz..lot cheaper). Ask him to append the supplement and make the correction entries...get the sealed envolepe from doc and mail it...

Goni, I noticed that in the case of people who were called for interview. Their card was ordered by the local office and it came to them in 3 weeks.

I enquired with some of them who got their approvals recently in Texas. They all got their plastic cards in 3 weeks or less. I am not sure why it should take 8-12months at NSC. I also heard the task of printing the cards is outsourced to a third party. Does anyone have any clue or ideas from...

I just wanted to share the information that after getting the stamping done, today i went to the Social Security Office and got my SS Card changed to remove the "INS authorized work" and the status to "Legal Alien". ZSUJ.

No hassle in MI I do the renewals online, so no hassles.
