Hi Friends,
I received the long awaited emails this morning - Case approved and new card ordered.
Interestingly, I did get replies from CSC-XII.485@dhs.gov for my emails even after they stopped entertaining status inquiries.
Here is the sequence:
May 3 - case status inquiry email sent to...
You mean "company REVOKES" the I-140 of the original applicant.
Where did you get this information from? I'm not challenging you, but I'm curious. Do you have any link/document that states how the priority date is affected for substitution labor cases when the company revokes the orignal...
So you're saying that there can be multiple I-140 applications for a single labor certificate - and that all those applications will be approved?
I find that difficult to believe, since I KNOW people who have been screwed by the desi company I mentioned earlier which used the same labor...
No - labor-certificate to I-140 is a one-to-one relationship. If the labor-certificate was used to file an earlier I-140, then vm_gc's newer I-140 would have been denied. (There was one desi company indulging in precisely such a scam - promising substitute labor, then using the same labor for...
NO. People are only seeing LUD changes and message changes. The message simply indicates that the case has been received here (here being TSC). Somehow, this LUD & message change is causing excitement that the case will be approved soon. I haven't seen any I-485 approvals on cases that have been...
No - you cannot assume anything from LUD changes. I had LUD changes on 4/8 for ALL my applications - including approved EAD, Advanced Parole, I-140 and pending I-485.
The only way you know about namecheck is by sending email to csc-xii.485@dhs.gov and waiting for the reply. Keep sending...
No - no such restriction. At worst they will just ignore your email if you send them too frequently. That 120 days number is just false information. You can choose to wait if you want to, though ;)
They are grouped by application type - and then by sub-type. All sub-types of a given application (say I-140) have the same color. The colors alternate for each application type.
According to the latest bulletin published by USCIS, you can order this book only if you have approved I-140 and your Name check has been pending for 10 years. The service has NO control over how long it will take to deliver the book to you after you order. ;)
