Ok guys.
this is how it works......
Categories are based on the section of the law plus 5.
For example, EB2 would be E21+5=E26.
So for spouse it would be E27 and E28 for the kids and so on...
hope this clears.....
Mine was handled and approved by off 69.
I think this officer collects a bunch of rfes and approve all on one day.
Bcos the date mine was approved, I noticed number of cases were approved by off 69 on the same day.
cheers.
I just received the card and noticed
"Resident since March 2003"
Is this normal...and can someone share their experience....
Also what does Category E26 means.....
cheers.
I don't think its fair to call this a bad experience when in fact the fault lies in your part by going so late. There were so many experiences posted here esp on stamping requirements.
Anyway try to get there early the next time.
Hi longgc,
yes the status changes as soon as they issue the RFE. in my case i received the rfe in five days after i saw the online message about RFE.
same is the case when they receive the response too. my online message said, "response was received on so and so and is taking 900 something...
Were you getting the passport stamped with courtesy copy or did they ask for origina? Please help.
Also Raju99 posted that they had asked for three photos instead of two. Should I go with more photos then?
Thanks.........
Could any of you please advise on the requirements for the passport stamping in Houston,
do i need an appointment,
best time to go,
what documents to carry etc.
Thanks in advance!
Ours approved too!
Checked online status this morning....nothing has changed..same message...so and so...
but then I was browsing this afternoon, i noticed couple of guys posting approvals which are approved by off #69. Since our case is handled by the same officer...and the rest is...
Does RFE's sent to attorney or to applicant?
Also does the approval notice sent to attorney or applicant?
Reason for my question is that we just moved to a new address and noticed online that a RFE is sent. Do I have to notify the change of address at this point.
Please help.
friends, thanks for all your replies & suggestions...
funny thing happened when i contacted the senators office.....i was told that the senators office is backlogged with immigration inquiries back to dec 2003 and it will be few weeks before i hear from them........sounds ironic...isn't it...
