AC-21 case.
Filed I-140 under Sr. Software Engineer title in the software development category. Want to switch a job which is a consulting position. The new job is still in the software development field.
I think it would be ok. Just want to check with you guys.

Do you mean that guy who filed his I-485 in Sep, 2003 will get his approval in 6 months? I filed my I-485 & I-140 consurrently also in June, 2003, can I expect that my case will be approved in 6 months or less? :)
What happens after NSC receives my finger print result from FBI?
My guess is they just put it on the shelf and wait till they starts to work on my case.
Thanks.
The Fp notice asks me to bring the notice and a valid id (passport, driver licence, etc.).
I assume I can just bring the notice along with my driver licence to the office for FP. Am I right?
BTW, how long will they finish the FP check and send the result back to NSC?
My case is current filing and my I-140 was approved in 9/2003. I am going to take FP this Friday.
According to this memo, will I get chance to have my 485 touched/evaluated/RFEed/approved after the name check is done?
That's my understanding of this memo
Maverick, could you share your experince of moving to a different service area?
I am in the similar condition as yours. I filed my case to NSC and now am planing to move to VSC. I want to keep using the same attorney. What procedures I should follow?
Thanks in advance ...
