I am trying to extend the B-2 visa for my mother. I have a few questions
1) On the I-539 form, what means "Address in care of"?
2) For part 4 regarding 3g. "Fully describe how your are supporting yourself. Include the source, amount and basis for any income".
If my mother claims that she...
I think you misunderstood what I said. I meant the officer who reviews the referral may assume that the card is not received for some reason (lost in the mail, address problem ...) and then cancel the card (that is what happens to a credit card if the credit card company believes you did not...
I received my green card a few days ago. Five days before the green card was ordered, I called the national customer service center and told the officer that I did not receive the green card after 2 months of I-485 approval since I was a little anxious to get the card. The officer told me that...
I-94, passport, approval, photos. they also asked whether i had EAD or AP. I did not have these documents. i guess they just want to destroy them if i do.
I went to Newark this morning. The officer told me that they will fill all the files being sent to VSC in a box. The box will not be shipped until it is full. It could take several months before it is full. That is why some people get GC much faster than others: they get the passport stamp when...
My I-485 approval date is 05/10/05. I did passport stamping on 05/26/05. On my passport it reads
ADM: 05/10/05, EAC, E26
I-485 approval 05/26/05 signature
I was so confused because my I-485 approval is 05/10/05. I thought the officer made a mistake by switching the admission date and the...
My passport stamp was done on 05/26. sounds like i still need to wait for a while. The information that officer wrote on my passport stamp is very confusing. it reads
ADM: 05/10/05, EAC, E26
I-485 approval 05/26/05 the officer's signature
However my I-485 approval date is 05/10/05 (NOT...
Can you check the ADMISSION date on your passport stamp? It is I-485 approval date or passport stamp date? Mine is I-485 approval date. But I thought it was passport stamp date. I want to make sure that the officer did not mistake the dates.
Thank you very much in advance!!!
Can I ask what is the admission date on your passport stamp. It is the I-485 approval date or the passport stamp date??? Mine is I-485 approval date. But I assume it is passport stamp date.
Thank you very much in advance
Maybe the local office got the case number wrong. Why don't you call CIS. There is option for approved cases. You can use that option to talk to an officer in VSC.
I did passport on 05/26/05. My I-485 approval date is 05/10/05.
at the bottom of the stamp page it reads
ADM: 05/10/05, EAC, E26
I-485 approval 05/26/05
signature.
I was a little confused since my I-485 approval date is 05/10/05. Can you check what is on your stamp...
I got my passport stamp on 05/26/05. The passport stamp reads
ADM: 05/10/05
I-485 approval: 05/26/05
However my I-485 approval date is 05/10/05. Did the officer
make a mistake by switching the admission date and I-485 approval
date? Does it matter? Anyone has similar experiences?
Thank...
I just got the approval notice. it says that i need to take I-94 for passport stamping. I had two I-94 one is stapled on the passport which i got when i last entered US. there is another I-94 which is attached to my H1B. which one do they need? I also found there is a big "DUPLICATE" printed on...
I have a question. After I get my green card, how soon can I change to a different field? Will this affect citizenship application? Does any of you have similar experience? Does the officer who conduct the naturalization interview really care what type of job you work after GC?
Thank you very...

it is very frustrating because i saw in I-485 forum that many I-485...
