I had a great CP at mumbai on aug 19th. Reached India on the wee hours of the 15th and took rest on 15th. On 16th, went to hindujas. They require you to have your original passports and original appointment letter AND A PEN (yes, a pen) for the evening session.

With 140/485 concurrent filing announced today (YOU can file a 485 even if your 140 is pending from TODAY) I guess the popularity of CP will wane over the next few months !!!

INDIA CUT-OFF DATE LISTING India is no longer considered to be "oversubscribed", since the cut-off dates listed in the "All Chargeability Areas Except Those Listed" column apply in all visa categories. Therefore, the India listing has been dropped from the monthly Visa Bulletin.

Folks, lets start a NVC Frontlog tracker for approved 140\'s not yet received in the NVC. And lets do it in the \'rolling\' format where you copy the previous tracker in the new one and add / modify your details. Best would be if you could make your modifications in bold.

I\'m just trying to get an estimate of the amount of time it took you from an LC approval (or Hard Copy receipt) to an 140 filing.. My lawyer took 4 weeks and I think its inexcusable !! How about you ?
With the first two Jan 2002 (RD - 1/3 ND - 1/9) approvals out, its time to start tracking 2001 waiters in one list.. Plz post your details (RD/ND/Partial EAC if any) here..
