these days they only do code-3 so not much of a pattern for new filers and 1st time FP people. for re-FP guys i can see a pattern that FP results in a change processing status.

how long have you been waiting for your card...if it is less than 2 years we could talk after 2 years. i don't think any body should be calling 3 times a day but we would like to hear back from you in 2 years if you are still stuck. mine was approved in little over an year so don't lash back...

congressman's office was surprisingly responsive here in san diego. they were very knowledgeable too...so it isn't a bad idea to contact them. but if it is stuck in name check they can't help you other then making sure that the case is not lost in the system.

if they are not ready to talk to you - make up some story to convey your emergency. i know it is not the most ethical thing to do - but hey they are playing with our lives - can't we do the same.
