    I agree Changing financial records and names on creditcards is easier than changing stuff with INS Pls make sure you change the name asap You never know what reason INS can show to ask further questions in case this name issue can be quite big one. . Ram

    If you remember your WAC number, then its always better in case you forgot the photocopy Or else have a copy faxed from your lawyer to whereever you are.. that should suffice too. . Prasanna

    Address at the time of Passport stamping for GC

    You can always give a new address for obtaining your plastic card during your passport stamping. In fact, they will ask you explicitly if you want to give another adddress. I had my address change from Lawyers to home and the cards arrived at home No need to worry . Ram

    Dont worry.., I also got the same message after they received my RFE response in Jan. I got approved within two weeks of receiving the RFE response So, you might have your GC by April 10th, 2004 :-) . Ram

    Not that its so straight forward but why would company B through who you are working as contractor in your orig company not willing to give you a letter It just says that you are currently working for them for so and so salary.. they cannot deny evl because you already get pay stubs...

    The best practice ( not a legal requirement) is one month As others mentioned, the sooner the better. Just get it done with Venkayya.. you never know what happens and you are NOT a legal immigrant UNTIL its stamped on your passport for travel purposes . Ram
