Seems that you are in bad luck too. My case got transfered to Charlotte early Feburary and did not get anywhere since then. You may need 2nd FP. I got my 2nd one after I contacted Congressman David Price's office. You can go for FP once you got the notice. You do not have to wait.

Applied EAD 2/4/04 to Taxas and got trnsfered to Charlotte NC because the 485 case trasfer. Never got anything except the transfer notice since then. Need go get i-ead. What documents do I need to bring. Never got the i-ead before, how difficult is the process? thanks

My case was transfered to NC. You will not get interview in NC soon. Neither my friend, whose case got transfered in 01/04, or me got anything from Charlotte yet. As for EAD, you need to apply from local office according to the national center. I applied EAD 2 days before they tansfered my case...

I did my FP oon 1/29/03. My case was transfered to Charlotte NC, which does not list its telephone number. I tried to call the 800 number to request new FP. The lady said since the case has transfered to local office, they could not schedule FP anymore, I have to wait from the local office...

mine is EB2 NIW case. According to some friends here and my lawyer, it is quite common to get transfered. But I know at least one of my friend who also has NIW case got approved directly.
