For those interested: Received my plastic GC on 9/18/03. Online status changed to "card ordered..." on 9/11/03. Stamping was done in SF on 6/13/03 (WAC049xxx, RFE 4/24/03, approved 6/9/03). I guess that completes the journey. Best of luck to everyone. Sincerely, Babooka

Could those who received their plastic cards over the last couple of months please post their data (e.g., stamping date, notice change to card ordered date, actual receipt)? Would be interesting to see how much time it takes nowdays between the passposrt stamp and the plastic card receipt...

Went to the SF BCIS today at 6am, was out at 9am. The interim iEAD is only valid thru 8/21/03 though. Kinda short, I thought it would be for 8 months. The first EAD expired on 2/28/03. Extenion pending since Dec. 6, 2002. 02-049XXX

And what about TSC? Those mother kissers haven't yet started processing 2001 cases. Kinda hard to believe they will clear that humongous backlog in 2-4 weeks, or months for that matter.

Don't want to be talking doom and gloom, but this looks like the kind of force majeure that is here to stay for a long time. Security concerns will remain for the forseeable future, regardless of the war length, until the tone at the top changes, which is not likely to happen any time soon...
