thanks Aileen_gc. I did not do anything to trigger this approval. My PD is Oct'2001. But I don't think that matters . Your case should have been approved long time back.
interview letter
Bose,
In interview letter, did they specifically ask for employment letter ? if not, then go to interview with all the papers that were mentioned in the interview letter. If interviewer ask for employment letter, then you can say, it is not mentioned in the interview letter...
processing dates
I am not too excited about this jump.. I think TSC just came up with some random date . they don't mean it. Last processing date was 07/11 but there are many people with RD/ND in april,may,june..etc.. They will continue to do random processing as they do now.
dont worry about FP. Early FP doesnt always expedite the approval.
My 485 RD/ND : 12/2002. Received FP notice first week of Jan 2003. Since I wasnt in US at that time postponed FP for 3 times and finally did it in May 2003. Now it is expired and I guess, i will have to go thru same process again.
I got the same message couple of weeks back. It turned out to be denial letter for expedite processing of GC. I sent a letter to expedite my I-485 application . They sent reply letter along with my letter.
which one of these is correct mailing address ? to send I-485 application ?

I think, it is going be much faster than current processing days for concurrently filed application. New process will save lots of time spent on moving files from one dept to other.
PrinceofJungle ,

Actually i want to add my child, who was born in India . We are currently living in UK. My plan is , prepare all paperwork , make a trip to US to file papers and then come back to UK. We all have valid H visas .

tgs,
i dont think it is a big mistake . As long as you stayed in US with valid status, it should be fine. In worst case, they may send RFE and you can always prove that you entered US legally and inspected on arrival. In best case scenario, they may not even read that question and aprove your case.
TheRealCanadian,
Thank you very much.
I am employed with US company and working on H1B. I got project in England and my H1B will expire very soon. Our company attorney asked me to use EAD/AP instead of processing new H1B.
I was under the impression that AP is only for short trip and one can...
Hello,
how long one can stay out side the country while I-485 pending ? Can some one work in different country using EAD and AP for long time ?
thanks.
poongunranar ,
Did you forget for a second that you filed in TSC ?
Probability of your application getting adjucated any given day, from tommorrow onwards(today is already over) is 50%. So dont lose hopes.
One of our colleagues got approval few months back. He got his approval within just 8 months after submitting I-485 and 6 months after FP. Though ,he didnt file I-140 and I-1485 at the same time but when he filed his I-485 , I-140 was pending.
Poongunranar, there is no pattern at TSC...
