This friday i got my passport stamping in downtown (Federal Plaza) NYC. INS officers were coperative and friendly. It took almost 1:30 hour (1:30 to 3:00 PM) for us to get the stamping. They just took the approval letters, EAD cards and I94 cards. Hope this is helpful.. Thanks RD...

Go to the local INS and explain the situation (Show them some proof of your approval like on line msg..). They will give on the same day.

It says "Either this number is invalid or no loner exists..Please check the number and try again" I am sure this is the number for VSC.. (It happened 3 times since morning) Any Idea ?

don' worry.. you should receive your ead cards in a couple of days i got my ead cards with in 10 days..

My EAD expired on 9th of this month.. but i am on H1..

mailed the application on 13th dec. received the receipt on 19th and received the cards on 23rd... Pretty fast...i did not even check the online status..
