Hi : BCIS issued RFE on my case on june 5th , but my lawyer hasn't received it so far. Can anyone tell me, how long they are taking to receive an RFE these days. I called them up , they said 30 days. anyone in the same situation. RD:12/20 ND:1/4

Only "conditional green card" requries visa to enter canada. (spousal based or marriage based green card are conditional for two years) Rest dont need any visa to enter canada. if you are driving, canadian officials sometimes dont even see your GC to enter. you just say i'm US resident...

They should add another law of counting pending 485 time towards citizenship. this will alleviate some pain.

Can any answer that if one's EAD is going to expire. Is it mandatory to renew it even if you don't need it.

Thanks for your reply. Dec 01 is my LC date and i'm going to file 140+485 togather but my wife is abroad. I want to know if i can file my 485 alone. would she be able to file 485 later on when she comes back. will INS connect it with my file? or will her case be treated seperately...
