Job Change I changed the job after 3 months of approval, offcourse I can defend my decision if asked by USCIS. I don't believe in 6 month, 1 year and then 2 year of staying with the same company after gc approval as they are all rumors, if you have a valid reason change it.

Today we got our SS Card without the words, "Valid for Work with INS Authorization" . Now, personally I don't care how long will it take to get the actual plastic card. I got what I needed for the job change and stamp on the passport for the travel.

IDreams is right -- Stamped Passport and Original SS Card.

It is upto you to change the SS card or not but it is better to change because if you have the unrestricted ss card then with the new employment offer, you just need to give the SS card and the ID for the I-9 form. The SS card office is one block from the INS office on Jackson street.

Thanks for the understanding, instead of making the 140 approval a point , we can include it in the interim GC point (like 140 cannot be revoked after the interim GC).
