I agree with Abu_lafya!! I am in the same situation and I already applied for adjustment status. Current salary doesn\'t need to be the same as your LC. However, your company must provide a letter stated that they will increase your salary match with your LC after your greencard is approved.

My I 94 is going to expired on Jan 2002. How can I extend it without leaving the country ??? Can I just go to the local INS to extend it ? Currently, I am applying I 485 and my H1B will be expired on October 2003. Thank you for your help.
