I have a question does anybody know what are the average waiting time for asylum interviews these days

no m stil waiting for my work permit. I believe they take 5-6 months to process work permit too. because I am waiting since 3 months and I know smbdy who is waiting since 5months.

Hey folks I think it would be useful if we can share our asylum interviews waiting time. I am waiting since last 8months and I applied from Detroit MI and my asylum office is Chicago. I want to know if will it works if I move my case from MI to some other state where there is quick process...

you have to send them wriiten notice about change of your address. mentioning your full name, date of birth, A number, country of origin new n old address

I applied in 14 novmber after 154 days of asylum application and the issued notice on 11/19/2013 so I believe from11/19 to 2/10 its approximately 3months :(

no I did not interviewed even. I applied for asylum on 06/10/2013 and then for my work permit on 11/19/2012 from Detroit, MI which comes under Nebaraska office. I even called and asked what is exactly going on and they said they will get back to me in 15days and now m waiting for their reply...

for mw it took ages :( its already since 3 months m waiting for EAD and 7 months for asylum interview

is that ok to give usps pobox office address?

Thank you so much for your reply. I applied asylum from Detroit. if I change my address from Detroit to Chicago would it influence m case in any way. I mean expedite? I call USCIS office tomorrow becoz its more than 60days now :(

Hi All I applied for asylum in June and work permit in November 2013 but I am still waiting for my hearing and my work permit. does anybody have an idea that what is the average time of getting work permit and hearing of asylum at Chicago office these days. thanks
