Yes it went through fine, the acknowledgement shows the correct new name. Looks like no court papers required for family name change because of a marriage. This was really surprising to me considering CGISF takes 60 days for ack.

Thanks. I wonder why the ask for the return envolope during application process. Why not when sending US passports for stamping.

I have sent in the envolopes with 16.25, what should I do after my OCI is granted (expected in June 1st week). Send in the additional .25 in stamps?

That looks scary. We do not have any court document. For all other name change process (DMV, SSA) marriage certificate was good enough. Let me do some research. Thanks for the update.
