    InfoPass help ...

Are you sure ? Are you sure you can go to an office of your choice ? If so, I will gladly go to Philly. My concern is just that some officer would say, your zip code isn't my jurisdiction. I don't know what's wrong with Cherry Hill. Its like a clicking lotto.

Is InfoPass Zip Code specific ?

Can one take an InfoPass in a office diff from one's own jurisdiction for I-551 stamping ? Or do they look at the approval letter and the zip code therein ? Anyone tried a diff zip code, especially since Cherry Hill ( and maybe others ) is such a pain ?

    InfoPass help ...

I think I am about to hit another record now. While I haven't counted, I must have clicked 3000-4000 times for an InfoPass appointment, without success. This is so absurd. My local office is Cherry Hill. I have tried early am, morning, late night, evenings, afternoons, every possible...

    Pending 2001/2002 I-485 applicants, Raise Hands ?

Ajay, try a 2nd expedite req Ajay, The expedite response must have told you to wait for 30 days. Wait 30 days and send a 2nd expedite request; attach photocopy of their 1st expedite response. Highlight how nonsense the very term "normal processing" is, when you have waited x...

    Pending 2001/2002 I-485 applicants, Raise Hands ?

Can you try the following ? Write a letter addressed to USCIS Ombudman, Prakash Khatri. Don't make it long; be brief, just blast them ( using the right language though, I dont mean expletives ) about the process, highlight the unfairness. Not claiming you will get a result; but what's...

    My Case is approved

I have no idea I have no idea what helped or if anything helped at all. My case is almost an example of straightforwardness, no turns, no twists. Same company, well established company ( no, not a bodyshop , its a technology company ), good financial records, everything was well...

    My Case is approved

April ? It just freaks me out to see that there are cases dating back to April and Jan 2002 ( why, even 2001 )out there, waiting. Bare bones common sense dictates a First Come First Serve order.............just puzzles me that these guys at USCIS don't get such a simple concept. Wish...

    My Case is approved

I am happy but also very sapped I am happy too but more than that zapped and suddenly reflective. This brutal process seems to have taken a lot of my juices, sapped my energy, mental & physical. It has affected my productivity, anger, rage, and I think it has left a scar on my psyche...

    My Case is approved

Yes. I am a Sept 2002 ND/RD. Priority Date is July 1999. Very painful delays. 3 Status Enquiries. Congressman intervened in a delayed I-40, enquired twice for I-485. One Expedite Request denied. 4 EAD's ( 4th one was for a lost one ) and 3 AP's. Called up Vermont directly 4...

    I140/I485 Denied.Help please

Invoking ac21 letter...is it mandatory ? Many lawyers are recommending not to send any ac21 letter. However, when the denial of I-485 has come, all one has to do is to respond to it with 1) New Job Offer Letter..with new salary, etc 2) Letter from new employer describing how job skills...

    Pending 2001/2002 I-485 applicants, Raise Hands ?

Amazing Its amazing that USCIS can expedite for a RD/ND of Dec 2002 and thinks a Sept 2002 I-485 does not meet the criteria for Expedite. I think I have just given up. Its sheer amazing...

Not sure what the qn is You got an RFE. So why are you asking for best/worst case scenario ? And what is the qn about how long you stay in US etc etc ? An RFE , I thought, needs a response , depending on what's being asked for. That's all.

    Pending 2001/2002 I-485 applicants, Raise Hands ?

Who can do that ? Anyone know him personally ? Again, we wouldn't want to loose focus as to our intent here. Intent here is only complaining about 2001/2002 I-485 applicants waiting in the face of 2003/2004 I-485 approvals. Nothing more ..nothing less. Can anyone/multiple of us talk to...

    Pending 2001/2002 I-485 applicants, Raise Hands ?

How many may be ready for a law suit ? I don't agree with this letter writing thing. It will really go nowhere. I, however, don't think ( and I / we have gone discussing this before ) that we will get enough people ready for a lawsuit. But even if we could get around 100 2001 & 2002 I-485...

    Pending 2001/2002 I-485 applicants, Raise Hands ?

If very few or none are willing, let's stop counting. If a big chunk ( 50-100 ) is not willing to take this problem head-on, let's stop this counting process; its a dead effort even before we start.
