Having seen DOL's way of working, it won't surprise me if they (BEC) do not approve any cases in another 6 months. They'll probably take 6 months just to enter the cases in to the computer and another 6 months to send letters to the attorneys. Then, they'll take 6 months to read the replies from...

Have we decided on a date when we are sending the petition out? Guys, let us just send it out. The letter as it is conveys the message. We can keep on refining it but the benefit that we will get out of that may not be much because of the time spent. Just my 2 cents. AG

Someone, please explain what will happen to the case that was transferred from Michigan to Chicago DOL in Jan 2004. Thanks in advance.

The receptionist will ask for employer's name, and your last name. With this information, he/she will tell you - your case number, when was it received etc.
