I need to go to Germany at the end of next month for work and plan to get my visa stamped at the Frankfurt embassy. (H1 visa expired in Feb of this year)
I had only one question..can we pick up the passport after the stamping at the consulate or is that option not available at this consulate...
Because the DV lottery allows riff raffs(no offence meant) to become legal residents. Only people with the qualifications to get through the employment route should be allowed to get green cards. They should also modify the family reunifaction route to permanent residency.
Do you not read..the wagon in your example is prohibited by the law to be a factor in the randomness of the procedure.
Randomness is not enough...randomness should only be influenced by the factors allowed by the law.
It does not matter...the LAW states that everyone should have an equal chance of winning within their geographical location. The date of application should never have been a factor in the selection.
The reason is that each applicant within the defined geographic location should have an EQUAL chance of winning...the date of application should never have been a factor. It was here and so the process was flawed.
It is pretty easy to understand.
Not an equal chance within each geographical region as required by the LAW...key word equal.
The program skewed the process by using the application date as a factor which it should not have.
Actually in your case..the wagon should never have been used as a factor. The law is specific on that. The balls should have been divided based on geographic locations and then randomly chosen among the geographic locations.
Dude..how many times should I tell you this. The LAW mandates that ALL eligible entries get a chance at winning. The only consideration being the secret forumla they use to divide the amount of winners per region. That by LAW is the only factor to be used by the computer in determining who wins...
Wrong...the law mandates that ALL ELIGIBLE entries get a chance at winning and obviously if 99% of the entries have been excluded based on the date of application, then it is is not lawful.
They have to...because otherwise they are violating the law.
The procedure and no of visas issued is mandated by Congress...the State dept cannot make things up as they go.
And stop the whining for gods sake!!
Technically yes...but from reading this thread the consensus seems to be that for people living in the US if you have not got it yet it is over.
I guess back to the EB line...:)
