consult your attorney!!! If your date on AP is expired one then it is better to contact attorney.

Joma and others. My I-140 still says that the approval notice was sent to Consulate in India for further rocessing and packet 3 has been sent to attorney on record on Octobar 18th 2000. I called up lawyer and asked him to make sure if everything with the file is OK. Will it delay the process...

finally got courtesy copy. Post marked as Nov 16th Approved on 11/07.

joma !! Did you ask your lawyer to confirm if the INS is successful in tracking your file transfer t Go through lawyer. I had the same dates and I got approved on 11/07/2001. Convince him to talk and take care of it. Waiting won\'t help always..

Chaturbhuj!! Dont worry about what IIO said. Sometimes even if the case is going to be approved the next day they will say it will take 30 - 60 days. They have this standard answer which they have been asked to say like tape recorder. Don\'t get depressed because of that.

Believe me it is too great. I did not expect that this CP situation would be resolved so soon. I had made up my mind that it may take couple of months because looking at kini case who is waiting with ND :02/2000 it was difficult to convince myself that it would work out so soon. But I believe...

Abhiyant!! I got approved day before yesterday. You should get your approval soon. If it is assigned to officer and the file is complete then this month you should get it.

SuperStar!! My case used to say Case not found till Oct 10th. After that the AVM was updated for me and my wife to say "Your application was recieved ..." on Oct 10th. I used to check AVM quite often. Yesterday was the day for which I was waiting..Best of luck for you.

Thanks Abhiyant!! You should get approval soon even though your case was a CP case. Both myself and sammybee are CP cases which got approved yesterday. If you think your lawyer is supportive then you should ask him to Call INS and talk to IIO regarding your case and find out if the file is...
