    why you are using two last names for your wife ? you should have filed her 485 with her last name (which is in her passport). I filed for my wife with her last name. talk to your attorney. good luck sree

    get SSN Its easy to get SSN. Ask your wife go to Social security office, and show her EAD they will issue SSN for her.

    COBRA is for medial COBRA is related to your medical insurance. COBRA gives u a option to pay your monthly insurance premium instead of your employer. It no way related to your status or INS.
