Urgent!! Please Help Question about my wifes Name on 485 application

We applied fro AOS in Dec2001. I was the primary applicant in the process.
My wife is on a H1 and has been working for a while now. When the lawyer prepared
our applications for EAD, AP and 485, he gave my last name on all the applications of my wife.
Whereas her name in the passport has her last name before our marriage.
 We got our EAD and AP approved and her name has my last name.

 She has been in the US for a while and she has her drivers license and SS with her
previous last name( before marraige). Now would this be a problem?
 if any one had a similar situation please share.

Can you tell me what needs to be done in this kind of situation?
Do you think i should change her name on the passport and other documents to avoid confusion in the future?
Would this generate any RFE when they process her 485 application?

Any help would be appreciated.

Changing your wife’s name on passport and other document is not so easy. You better talk to your att

 
 
why you are using two last names for your wife ?

you should have filed her 485 with her last name (which is in her passport). I filed for my wife with her last name. talk to your attorney.

similar situation

I have kind of similar situation, my wife\'s 485 application has her maiden name which is same as her passport, but her Tax ID has my last name so the Tax return copy we attached with 485 application in that she has my last name.
I hope this wont create any problem same for you since you also might have submitted the marriage certificate, they should understand else they might send an RFE.
