It all depends on your luck.
If your company wrote something adversely and reported to INS - which I doubt, the IO may ask you something. When My friend went for interview they asked him - he left within 3 months - because his company informed INS about many employees leaving the company due...
There are some rude people always. But dont get alarmed.
If you dont have any criminal history, nothing would stop you from getting the citizenship.
I am sure, you would get soon.
Today at Montebello, LA, about 1800 people took oath. The ceremony started very promptly at the given time and everything got over in about 30 minutes.
We all got our certificates at 11:30 in the morning.
End of a long journey - almost 8 eight years.
Wishing everyone good luck...
I would recollect my expeience before 5 1/2 years. I applied for EAD and AP and I never got my AP or EAD. I got my GC approved and after couple of weeks, I received a letter from USCIS that my application for EAD is denied as I already became a LPR.
As such, I believe, you should be fine.
I think, you missed a good change. Not in the negative sense. When I spoke to them, for LA, it is a big line and very disappointing also. It might even get into May 2010 for those appearing for interview now.
Spoke to one of the officials of USCIS this week on I am told that for people who have had interviews at LA, we may have to wait for a very long time for oath ceremony - (if not called for 8th January - when there will be a large group that would be taking oath)- as there is a backlog and even...
Oath Ceremonies are normally held in four locations in Los Angeles.
Anybody knows how the locations are assigned? LA convention center has a oath ceremony scheduled for 8th Jan - for 12000 people.
There are multiple locations in Jan and Feb at Montebello and Fairplex, etc.
How they...
It was a five minute affair
The IO was very quick in going over the yes/no questions and asked me to write the answers in a paper for 10 questions - which I gave in less than a minute.
She signed the letter and congratulated me and told me that I will get the certificate at the time of...

I have been Reading various articles and so many stories /experiences.

Keeping my fingers crossed.
Will post my experience on Monday.
That is true. AC21 has nulled this requirement as you can change the employer even before approval of the GC - which is for a future employment. You should be fine and as mentioned here, there was hardly anybody mentioning about the employment question.
Take it easy man. You are almost there.
The AC21 provides a person to change employer even before approval of GC and as such should not be an issue.
In Fact GC is for future employment - however, the AC21, nulls that - sort of confusing - but you shouldbe fine.
Thanks.
That is true - I too thought about it.
LA office is very slow and I am seeing people not getting Oath letters even after a month - after passing the interview

Interview letter received on 10th Nov - but the interview is alost 45 days later. That too, just before Christmas.
