    Spoke to IIO - July00 case still pending.

    Pending does mean ..Not assigned to Officer! All this days I was in the same status ..they never would tell me when it was assigned to an officer... But once the case was assigned ..twice(different IIO\'s) told me the date...

    general observation Unless the case has been really assigned to a officer IIO does not give date assigned to officer..so if they tell u assigned to officer and r not ready to give a date assigned to officer ..means its not assigned to officer. In my case past 3 months i never got a date...

    I agree too Especially some of the guys have been calling on dec-00 cases and cases whichhave been mailed one week prior... I feel they should observe the forum and start calling them when c similar cases .. Too many inquires ..could drive the IIO\'s nuts ..and some genuine callers ahve...

    I thought with AC21 they were not processing it ...well looks like they were. I was even told once that it was not required. Well u know INS is full of surprizes ..hope they approve the 485 now..hope.hope..hope
