Hi All, My AD was 06.12.02 and I stamped the passport today. I reached INS -San Jose at 7.30 AM and was out by 10.30 AM. Went to the appointments line (2 people in front) and was let in immediately (As others have pointed out Original or Courtesy copy of I485 approval counts as appointment)...

Just heard on the AVM that the case has been approved. It was a long and frustrating wait. The only saving grace was this forum and all the kind folks here. I will surely miss this forum. I will hang around for a month or so, to help out people. I called the IIO atleast 10 times in the last 2-3...

The INS IS taking a 2nd look at the I140 at the time they adjudicate the I485. They are paying special attention to the US employer’s ability to pay. This could slow down the process. Or, INS could just be busy doing something else. We are seeing I485 approvals, though. Warm regards, -

Looks like CSC has skipped over most of the applicants with 07.15.01

Any more out there? Looks like the approvals in the 260\'s have almost totally stopped. Any ideas?

My WAC is 01-262-5XXXX. RD 07.25.01 and ND 08.20.01. FP done 12.12.01 No sight of approval. Talked to IIO a month back and she advised that checks have been received on 01.10.02 and file is sitting on the shelf(???). What is your advise? soi

FP done in Feb mid 2002. Got approval letter in the mail today. Sorry that is all I know about the case.

 

I am trying to send in a fax inquiry for my I485 application. I think it is delayed since WACs higher than mine are getting approved. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

He just got the approval in the mail. EB3, India Wonder when mine will come. My WAC is 01-262

Same damned old reply, "Case is not assigned yet. Please be patient". When asked when the case will be assigned, IIO said," I do not know that."

I am a July RD guy. Looking at Pcee\'s spreadsheet for July, it looks like CSC is processing by RD. After RD of July 18th, the approvals are really tapering off. I feel CSC is working on July RD\'s till 07.18.02. My RD is 07.25.01. I should get approval by month end (I hope). soi

She said all my background checks hae been received on 01.10.02. My FP was done on 12.12.01. She also said case is not assigned yet. She then mentioned that she will take a printout of my case and forward to the division Officer for expediting. I do not know why she said that. Gurus, any...
