No Title I guess you\'re thinking about that "180 days after i485" rule. No regulation announced by the INS yet. Too dangerous to take advantage of that rule now.

    Talked to IIO

No Title According to my experience, it is really pointless to ask an IIO how long they need to process the case. A few IIOs kept telling me holding my patience and I told them I fully appreciated their harding working, I was not pushing them, I had patience, bla, bla... What else could I say?

Many I485 cases are waiting for visa # now

No Title Per each country per each EB per year, the roof is around 2,800, accessed by all four service centers and consulates. Let\'s ignore consulates, divide 2,800 by 48 (4 service centers, 12 months), each month we have 58. No wonder VSC is slow.

Shot myself in the foot by talking to an IIO at 3:54 p.m.

No Title This is a good example of how a government clerk abuses his power. It seems the IIO you talked to hates immigrants, and his definition of the job must be kicking people out of the country.

Spoke to IIO this afternoon @ 2:45 pm
