Friends with RD 8/24/99 - Please read.

This is my observation that guys with Rd 8/24/99 have ND 9/16/99. After visiting myladoor immigration tarcker and Samba\'s List, I found that no one has got the approval. However, there are guys with later ND/RD have been approved.
Is there anything we can do to bring to VSC\'s attention. It is my gut feeling that somehow all the 8/24/99 cases are lying somewhere unattended.

I have talked to IIO once and came to conclusion that it is not only the ND but also the RD is considered while looking into the cases.

Any thoughts ??

EB3 rd 09/16/1999, nd 08/25/1999.

When you talk to an IIO ,the recieved date they refer to is actually the ND on ur receipt.

Your case is an example of what I was trying:)) to tell. Your RD is 8/25/99 and ND is 9/16/99. You have been approved 10/12. There are cases with RD 8/24/99 but they are still waiting even today. In fact I have not seen even a single case approved with RD 8/24/99.

It is true that IIOs follow cases by ND. However, I was surprised to know that she also mentioned about the RD. I can summarise the conversation as follows.
1. Currently they are processing Aug 15 Receipt Date.
2. As per her calculation Aug 24 cases should see approvals within 3 - 5 weeks. The rationale that she put forward is that it takes 5 working days to complete 3 consecutive Receipt Dates.
3. I myself was completely taken by surprise since I had firm belief that it is done entirely by ND which may not be true.

Something, more to followed closely is to wait for any approval in Nov in the coming days. Since they have changed the message 365-540 days, God forbid, they may slow down the 485 approval process. I hope it is not true.

You must followup with your lawyer. You may have noticed Immigration-law.com has issued notice about processing time. Your case is genuine and it should be addressed by Lawyer and INS immediately.
