Just now i spoke with IO and she said that my case is in "Adjudications area ". She dont want to say more than that.
Please any one tell me what is that mean and how long it takes to reach IO.

Security checks pending
I called yesterday using POJ method, IO told me that my case pending because security checks are still pending. When i asked Name Check and Security checks are same , she said "NO".
When i asked how long it takes do the Security checks , she replied no time frame...

My advice to you that once you get your card, visit and show her your Green Card. Now you are free bird to travel.

Toady I got reply from Senetor that have to wait for 6 months, Since my back ground check is still pending.
When i called them and explained about April Name Check memo, said that these checks are different from Name Check :eek: . Have to wait 90 days to do the one more enquire.:mad:
Then please contact your lawyer or Call customer service or Verify with local office. ( that is my suggestion only ).

Are you sure ? They mentioned valid from Aug 27, 08 ?
I checked mine it says " Date Issued was current date ". I dont know how you got August 27, 2008. Please check one more time your AP dates..
Whom you will show your Old or New AP while leaving country ?
I never heard that we should show our AP while departing country. Please can you clarify your question ? (I know we should hand over I94 card)
If you go personally no need to notarize, (I went personally to Embassy in San Francisco verified with officer over there, when i applied PIO card for my son ).
If you are mailing the application you might need to notarize.
I spoke to my firend , his son went to India with his in-laws 4 times and they never had any problem sofar. Except one time IO at SFO called his parents and verified about their relation. (in-laws and his son ).
