FP for EAD (I 765) Rescheduling of 485 worked, however also got a FP notice of EAD. I never heard of that. I am a bit perplexed? Any advice or similar situtation. I did apply for 765 after applying for 485.

I was 26 when I got GC, so was required to enroll, and they automatically enrolled me. I had the required doc. You are not required to register if you were 27 when u received ur GC. That is a standard letter, even my sister-in-law has the same text in hers. I would not be concerned

The process took 15 min in total, no question asked, 10 min to get into the INS with all the security in place and 5 minutes for I-551 stamping. Keep in mind if you are from Phoenix u need an appointment to get into the INS, a procedure change, it seems.... Now the plastic wait starts.

My lawyer did it by mistake I applied with out that signature card you are talking about, but ended up getting up an RFE and still waiting for more than 2 months to get my EAD card. In another words the card is an absolute requirement.
