Will the local INS Office entertain enquiries about the status of a 485 case or the only way to check is the AVM/IIO ? Not everyone can go to Laguna Niegel office so I guess the local offices should entertain such enquiries. -palpal

AVM does not always reflect the actual scenario We got our FP and a week later AVM got updated that FP sent.

It can be after 9pm also I checked AVM 9:05pm; there was one message. Next day 7:30am the message had changed. I am sure INS does not works that late, they have some kind of a batch process that runs nightly. -palpal

Did you speak to IIO for your wife\'s case ??  

AVM changed for me on 1/18 to "processing resumed". For my wife it still says "Fp notice sent..." Anyone experienced similiar situation !! What should I be doing in this case ? Thanks, palpal

Same for me also Just checked the AVM and message is exactly same as that for Kishur. But AVM did not change for my wife ?? Details: EB3-India FP Done:1/12/02(San Jose) FP Schd:2/12/02(Oakland)

I got my FP too in mail today !!! Details: WAC-01-286-XXXXX RD:Aug 16th ND:Sep 18th I have a question here. The Priority date is listed same as the RD on the FP notice. Is that normal ?? AVM was not updated till today morning. Will check again tonight. -palpal.

PCee, I completed my FP in San Jose on 1/12; Schd in Oakland 2/12. Do you know how much time it will take for the AVM to get updated to say that "Received Fp on this date and pending review..." ? Thanks, palpal
