Thank you. I appreciate that info.
Here is my case:
PD 06/2004 EB3 ROW
I-140 filed 04/28/07 PP
RFE 05/05/07, sent in 07/13/07
I-140 approval - 07/16/07
I-485 filled on 07/26/07
NO RD or ND so far.
Sorry to ask this question but I am a little confused.
Isn't it true that you will be given a Visa Number only if your I-140 is approved?
So if this the case, those applicants that have I-140 approved do they have a better chance of getting a Visa Number?
Thanks for any input on that.
The USCIS receipt date means only that they received it that day. You have to go by the Notice date.
My case was received 07/27 but I haven't received a Notice Date yet.
I had the same problem with the education deal and I hired a company in New York to study my degree.
Sometimes it does not matter the time you went to school but the amount of credits you get.

I am from Switzerland and currently in process of apllying for I-140 and I-485. Labor cert. was approved and I think we are filing for EB2 or EB3, my lawyer is trying to figure it out. ( probaly EB3).
I am aware of the fact that there is a long wait list, but does it make any difference from...
Waiting since June
My lawyer filed for my PERM application in June and up to today no word on my case.
Sent letter in September and late December, no reply.
I guess this is a frustrating waiting game.
