I haven't got my receipts yet, but it seems a lot of people filing after me have...

People that filed end of July have already received notices and checks have been cashed. I filed my application on July 2nd 10:25 AM, and zilch. I thought evertything they did at the USCIS/NSC was chronological. How come I have not received my receipts yet?

If I look at http://www.trackitt.com/usa-immigration-trackers/i485-tracker1/ I see that even people filing in August have received receipts.

How about these guys...

The USCIS receipt date means only that they received it that day. You have to go by the Notice date.
My case was received 07/27 but I haven't received a Notice Date yet.
 
Relax, not all July 2 filers got the receipt notices - a large number of cases were applied on that day. The receipt notices for July 2 filers will be staggerred (maybe for 10 days).

NO!
CIS goes by Received Date. Notice date just a date which generates the notice.
So, when you are looking at their monthly processing time report, they go by the received date as the processing time.

I quoted in here...
"Now Processing Cases with Receipt Notice Date of"

So, as long as they honor the received date, even you receive the notice a little later, you shouldn't be too worry.
 
well, i hear from Immigration lawyers that rumor is they ran out of papers to print the receipt notices. that could be the reason you haven't received anything. shameful but true.
 
I am sorry. I was under the wrong impression. I think it is because a lot of people are posting things without being true.
