    completed stamping today at san jose INS Went there around 7.00 am, got inside INS within 5 minutes after showing approval letter. I got the stamping for one year. I was out of INS by 7.30 am.

    April RD I am really disappointed with latest JIT report. MY RD 4/3/01 and JIT says 4/1/01. Can I do anything ?

    question on background check If the person is less than one year in US at the time of filing, does INS require any special checks ? In my case wife is less than a year in US at the time of filing.

    I had same problem One IIO told me (949) 389-3484 another one told me 949-389-3486. I sent the fax to both numbers. I received response from (949) 389-3484. Looks like faxing is useless. INS replied with standard JIT report.

    RD 04/03/01 FP 11/23/01 still waiting I spoke to IIO today. He said my background check not complete yet. He also told me that INS said does another check on background after FBI. Is this true ?

    RD 04/03 still waiting I spoke to IIO yesterday. INS don\'t have any information on my fingerprints. I did FP on 11/23 at San Jose ASC. FBI has sent the FP results to INS on same day. IIO asked me to send Fax inquiry. Anybody had similar exprerience ?

    I also called FBI soon after my FP . FBI told me they have sent it the FP results to INS same day. But IIO told me they don\'t any information on FP. I don\'t know what to do.
