I saw cases approved within a month of receiving RFEs regardless or PD.. I would not wait for PD to response RFE. But, that might work for you!

I think its not common but it happens if the case is pending for a while. It might happen if case is transferred from one officer to another. Just my guess! Can you tell me how long it took for your I485 LUD/update once you mail the RFE response.

I heard and read on some forum that if someone recently travels outside US for visa stamping, say H1B to Canada/Mexico etc. and re-enter without any issues don’t have issues during I485 Name Check, since it’s already verified during stamping. Is that true?

Are you relocating to different state or just street address. I485 requires valid PERM. PERM is based on 'particular' location. There is not enough qualified folks at that location so they 'DOL' approve your PERM and USCIS follows that..

receipt Well, I am still waiting for I485 receipt but I got mail today for Fingerprint notice from TSC with I485 receipt number. I guess this is another way to confirm if your I485 is processed or not. I485 filing to finger print notice took around 20 days.

Pd For applicants from India, you can only file I485 if your PD is before 08JAN03 .You can file concurrently since your PD is before 08JAN03.

BS+5 not easy Yeh, I heard that NSC hesitates to approve EB2 with BS+5 only. st4rguitar.. what do you mean EB2 only with MS+1/BS+5? what about MS+0/BS+5? Is that difficult for EB2 in PERM or I140 stage?
