Similar situation. After Approval and Passport stamping, the message says My I-485 is transfered to Nabraska (from Texas). My lawyer told me to just ignore it, BCIS told me to write a letter to nabraska. I do not want to complicate it any more.

spm, If you don't mind can you please give a copy of the letter you got. I went to consulate and I did not get any such letter from them. My wife and daughter are travelling via paris, and I think having this would be a great help. Please let me know, Thanks, tpp

Hello all, After our 485 approval, we got our passports stamped. We have not received the cards yet, but planning to travel to India. Is this ok to travel just with stamping or do we need to wait for cards. Thanks in advance. tpp_1
