Hi 1LongWait,
I highly recommend you to call Senator/Congressman as the Processing date at Vermont is pass your RD.
Your first job would be to find out the Tel. Nbr. of the Local Senator's/Congressmans office. Once you call his office, tell the person who...

Hi Ivar(almost my id with 1US missing)
On the RFE notice, INS had mentioned that 5mm is standard. But as you know INS is a strange animal, so you might not get a RFE.
You won't believe, but INS did not conduct any medical for my friends wife(derivative case) and they...

Hi 2001_filer,
Like I mentioned in my post, I am with the same Consulting firm and client ever since I have been in US. Hence I am in the same city also. So I went to the same Doctor. I guess I am pretty lucky!! Don't know what woud have happened if I would have...

Mdinva1,
YES it does suck. If they mixup RD & ND dates then the case really gets delayed a lot. And on top of it if a lazy officer is processing your case, it is delayed even further.
e.g Take my RD of 7.12.01 and ND of 8.28.01. July cases started to get...

Hi 1Longwait,
I am from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The Senator's role was that he contacted the INS and got my case moving. RFE was issue within a week.
As mentioned in my message, he first sent me a form called Privacy disclosure form. I had to...
Finally approveed :):D :) :D :) :D
My and wife's case got approved and the passport has been stamped on Oct. 21, 2002. It took 3 years 6 months for the entire process. It all began in April 1999 when I applied for Labor in EB3 from Pittsburgh. Labour was approved on July 12, 1999. Then...
Including myself I see 4 more users namely Banjo, fatman, gc0713, mag who are still waiting on their approval - Source Rupnet. Did you guys ever speak to an IIO ? What was their response ? I spoke about 4 times between April and june and always got the same answer. We are Processing Aug 01 cases...
Spoke 6 times to IIO
Since Last 3 months I called 6 times so far, but got the same reply all the times. We are processing cases of Aug 1(ND) and yours is Aug 28. So it is going to take a couple of months more. First time I called the IIO said it is going to be 30 to 60 days. Last time I called...
Randomness Sucks
If they would have been sequential, you would not have any pending june, july cases. BTW my RD is July 12th and I am still waiting. It all depends if you are lucky to be picked up in the randomness and get approved.
Same Here
PD - 01/07/1999, RD - 07/12/2001, ND - 08/28/2001, FP - 11/15/2001.
It\'s been more than 3 years the process began, but Still waiting. God knows when will I see the light. IIO\'s standard reply 30-60 days, 60-90 days.
Same Here
Talked to IIO\'s 5 times since last 7 weeks. Same answer, We are processing Aug 1 cases. Yours is Aug 28, so it will take 30 to sixty days. 2 weeks when I called a Male IIO said it will take 60-90 days. Since then I stopped calling and also checking the status. It\'s waste of time. It...
Vermont Center Closed Temporarily....
After trying continuously for 30 mins. got the VSC Nbr. Was happy that I would get an opportunity to speak to an IIO, but was frustrated to know that "We are temporarily closed due to an emergency...Blah!!Blah!!"
PD - July 01, 1999.
RD - July...
INS is processing Aug ND\'s
RD - 07/12/02
ND - 08/28/02
EAC - 01-257-XXXX
When I called an IIO on 5/10/02 (Fri.), she said they are processing Aug cases and my case is in Sept. I told her that my Receipt date is July 12th and Notice date is Aug 28. I don\'t see any date of Sept. in my 485...
