AVM message says: Case received on 12-00...it is currently taking between 975 to 999 days to process...blah, blah, blah).

I say that with experience. My wife cut her fingers twice; the first time before the first FP and then again just before the FP redo.
The first time, we did go to get the finger prints done. The guy at the ASC did not notice that there was a cut and so, we did...

Mercedes: I do not have any comments about the tranfer to the local offices and when it might be done, but I should like to say that, you have had rough so far. Things will get better so hang in there. Once all of this is over, you may look back on this as a toughening experience...
